No Reunion for “Selling Sunset” Season 8: Cast Feuds Leave Fans Disappointed
Fans of “Selling Sunset” were eagerly anticipating a reunion episode following Season 8, which premiered on September 6, 2024. Historically, the cast has gathered for reunions, hosted by “Queer Eye” star Tan France, allowing them to address the drama and relationships showcased during the season. However, Netflix has announced that there will be no reunion for this season due to intense cast feuds.
The drama unfolded even before the season premiered when Chrishell Stause publicly criticized cast member Nicole Young for allegedly spreading damaging rumors about her best friend, Emma Hernan. Stause took to Instagram, declaring she would never work alongside Young again and urging the producers to allow Hernan the chance to defend herself. Young’s assertions, which involved claims about Hernan’s supposed affair with a married man, were vehemently denied by Stause and her supporters.
The feud didn’t stop there. Chelsea Lazkani, another cast member, echoed Stause’s sentiments, labeling Young as “diabolical” for perpetuating lies. The season was rife with accusations and confrontations, culminating in a social media backlash that left the cast divided. Young maintained her stance, insisting that she merely reported a rumor and questioned the integrity of her fellow cast members.
As fans hoped for a reunion to clear the air, Netflix’s decision has dashed those expectations, leaving viewers disappointed. The ongoing drama and conflicts within the cast have brought uncertainty about future seasons. Despite these issues, “Selling Sunset” remains hugely popular, consistently ranking high on Netflix’s charts.
Will this reality show help its cast members get along, or is the drama too strong? We’ll have to wait and see. Right now, Season 8 leaves us with more questions than answers!
