Ewan McGregor has expressed a strong desire to return to the role of Obi-Wan Kenobi for a potential second season of the Disney+ series. Reflecting on his journey with the character, he stated, “I really do hope we get a chance to do another one… Between where we ended off in the series and when Alec Guinness comes on screen with Luke Skywalker, I think there’s another few stories to tell in there.” This sentiment is echoed by his co-star Hayden Christensen, who played Anakin Skywalker. Christensen enthusiastically stated that he hopes McGregor continues with the character, highlighting how exciting it is to watch him portray Obi-Wan.
Even though there hasn’t been an official announcement about a second season, the actors have hinted that there could still be more stories to tell about their characters in the Star Wars universe.
