On September 6, 2024, President Droupadi Murmu accepted credentials from several new envoys at a ceremony held at Rashtrapati Bhavan in New Delhi. The envoys who presented their credentials included:

  1. H.E. Mr. Anthony Makabo, High Commissioner of Solomon Islands
  2. H.E. Mr. Kane Amandus, High Commissioner of the Republic of Nauru
  3. H.E. Mr. Antonio Enrico Bartoli, Ambassador of the Republic of Italy
  4. H.E. Mr. Benedikt Hoskuldsson, Ambassador of Iceland
  5. H.E. Mr. Reuven Azar, Ambassador of the State of Israel

This event marked an important diplomatic engagement, reflecting India’s ongoing commitment to strengthening international relations with these countries.

Additionally, on August 29, External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar met with Israel’s Director General Yaakov Blitshtein in Delhi, discussing the progress of India-Israel cooperation and the situation in West Asia. Earlier in July, President Murmu had also accepted credentials from envoys from South Sudan, Zimbabwe, Spain, and Argentina.
